Unlike synthetic chemicals, essential oil chemicals are diverse in their
effects. No two oils are alike. Some constituents, such as aldehydes
found in lavender, are antimicrobial. Ketones, found in lavender,
stimulate cell regeneration and liquefy mucous. Phenols, found in thyme
oil, are highly antimicrobial. Sesquiterpenes, found in many oils, are
soothing to inflamed tissues.
The oils in Dermal K [tm] were chosen for their activity in soothing and
repairing skin and vein conditions and complaints. This is the missing
link between the effectiveness when going from natural remedies to pure
pharmaceutical drugs. The body is probably the most brilliantly
effective and powerful chemical manufacturing plant known to mankind.
Many companies, however, have tried to standardize extracts to specific
constituent levels hoping to equal or mimic prescription drug activity.
In theory this makes sense; in reality the body is much more
sophisticated than this and utilizes many other substances in the oils
to fulfill its needs. Nature, with billions of years of
biodiversification, contains potential no scientist can envision. This
is why we take great care to offer you what nature intended for you to
have.
